A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF MONEY FROM THE GENERAL CORPORATE
FUND OF THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS TO THE POLICE PROTECTION FUND, THE
FIRE PROTECTION FUND, THE ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND AND THE FIRE AND POLICE
BUILDING FUND.
WHEREAS, the Finance & Personnel Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois, has determined that it is necessary to transfer money from the
General Corporate Fund of the City of Canton, Illinois to the Police
Protection Fund, the Fire Protection Fund, the Road & Bridge Fund and the
Fire & Police Building Fund; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made
a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the sum of Five Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($510,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of
the City of Canton, Illinois to the Police Protection Fund of said City.
2. That the sum of Three Hundred Five Thousand Dollars ($305,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of
the City of Canton, Illinois to the Fire Protection Fund of said City.
3. That the sum of Two Hundred Forty Five Thousand Dollars ($245,000.00)
be, and the same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of the
City of Canton, Illinois to the Road & Bridge Fund of said City.
4. That the sum of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) be, and the
same is hereby transferred from the General Corporate Fund of the City of
Canton, Illinois to the Fire & Police Building Fund of said City.
5. That the City Treasurer and City Clerk of the City of Canton,
Illinois be, and they are hereby authroized and directed to make said
transfers.
6. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
