Alderman Jason Strandberg highlighted the reason for the reconvened meeting. This is to further discuss the Golf View Villas from the October 23 thrd meeting. Decided to have the meeting on October 30 from the 23 meeting, but did not receive all information from engineer and there are 7 different estimates. Alderman Eric Schenck said that of the seven options, 1, 2 and 3 of those options, is a three lane road down Cypress Street. The fourth option is a two lane road with sidewalks and curbs. Alderman Jason Strandberg said that Keith Plavec and Clif O’Brien areon vacation this week. I had discussed some ideas with a gentleman from the Peoria Maurer Stutz Inc office in Canton. After that discussion we may not be interested in a three lane road. Alderman Joe Berardi commented, that the biggest problem with Canton, we never look far enough ahead. The Fulton County Engineer Bill Kuhn wanted to do a loop for that area. We need to take another look at a 3 lane 1 road instead, and what is going to happen at Dare’s property? Better find a way today, as it won’t get any cheaper and home owners are paying for it. We need to add ex amount of dollars to expand our horizons here, as we can’t have a two lane road. Alderman Jason Strandberg said that Keith Plavec from Maurer Stutz Inc. will give us some more answers when he comes back from vacation. This is a great plan but I’m not ready to discuss water & sewer tonight. Motion and second by Aldermen Berardi/Strandberg, send back to Clerical Committee next month. The motion carried by voice vote, and was unanimous. The Public Works, Water & Sewer Committee reconvened meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m. Recording Secretary, Nancy Whites, City Clerk 2
