1. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving a financing agreement with
Morton Community Bank (Lender) and the City of Canton (Borrower) to finance
the purchase of a street sweeper
2. Discuss, consider and vote on the purchase of Glock full size caliber weapons/holster for
the police department
LEGAL & ORDINANCE

1. Discuss, consider and vote on an ordinance authorizing the lease of municipally
owned real property-lakeshore lease for Elizabeth Hollister --24637 East Barker
Drive. (2nd Reading)
2. Discuss, consider and vote on an ordinance amending Title 3 (Business
Regulations) Chapter 8 (Intoxicating liquors) section 7 (hours of sale, closing
hours on New Year's Eve) of the Canton Municipal Code. (1st Reading)
3. Discuss, consider and vote on an ordinance amending Title 9 (Traffic Regulations)
Chapter 12 (Golf Carts and Utility Terrain Vehicles) section 2 (Vehicle
requirements) providing for the vehicle requirements for the use and regulation
of Golf Carts and utility terrain vehicles within the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois. (1st Reading)
4. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving a real estate purchase
agreement with American Hospitality Investors Inc for 920 West Locust Street.
5. Discuss, consider and vote on an ordinance approving and authorizing the
execution of a redevelopment agreement by and between the City of Canton
and American Hospitality Investor Group Inc. (1st Reading)
6. Discuss, consider and vote on an ordinance establishing salaries for elected
officials of the municipality who will assume office May 1, 2017. (1st Reading)
7. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution setting forth the terms of
understanding for the construction of the Canton Park District trail including
North Main Street, Linden Street, and North Fourth Avenue in Canton Illinois.
8. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving an agreement to provide
fire protection and EMS assistance by the City of Canton to Illinois Community
College District #534, a/k/a Spoon River College.
9. Discuss, consider and vote on a resolution approving an intergovernmental
agreement between the Canton Union School District No. 66 and the City of
Canton and the Fulton County State's Attorney's office for the reciprocal
reporting of certain offenses and directing the Mayor and the City Clerk to
execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the City of Canton, Illinois.
