A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY PAY FOR ROBERT D. BROWN
WHEREAS, the City of Canton Fire and Police Commission, on or
about March 20, 1982, appointed Robert D. Brown as a temporary police
officer with the City of Canton Police Department for a period of
sixty (60) days begining March 20, 1982; and,
WHEREAS, it is now incumbent upon the Canton City Council to
establish an hourly wage for such officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That, as of March 20, 1982, temporary police officer Robert
D. Brown shall be paid an hourly wage of $8.61 for a period not to
exceed sixty (60) days from said date.
2. That the. City Clerk and City Treasurer are hereby authorized
to pay such hourly wage to temporary police officer Robert D. Brown,
to include back-pay through date of March 20, 1982.
3. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois this Fth day of nnr;i 1982, upon a roll-call
vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl, Clarke,
Horr.
NAYS : None .
ABSENT: None.
