A RESOLUTION CREDITING JAMES GRIER WITH 25 YEARS OF CITY SERVICE
WHEREAS, James Grier, on or about September 1, 1982, retired from
service with the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, at the time of retirement the said James Grier had
accumulated approximately 25 years of service with the City of
Canton; and,
WHEREAS, City of Canton records do not appear to coherently
reflect such matter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That James Grier be, and he hereby is, credited with 25 years
service with the City of Canton for insurance and retirement purposes.
2. That the City Clerk place a certified copy of this Resolution
in the personnel file of James Grier.
3. That this Resolution shall be retroactive to date of September 1,
1982.
4. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this 19th day of October ,
1982, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Carl, Gram t, Sarff, Savill, Hammon~,Kovachevich.
NAYS : None .
ABSENT: Aldermen Horr, Larsen.
