AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE/HOME OCCUPATION
PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF MASSAGE THERAPY LOCATED AT 480
N. 6th AVENUE, CANTON, ILLINOIS TO BARBARA TAYLOR,
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits of the
City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition was filed by BARBARA TAYLOR to the Planning &
Zoning Commission of said City requesting a special use; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearings and said commission did
thereupon make favorable findings of fact and did recommend to the Canton Citv
Council that said special use/home occupation for Massage Therapy at 480 N. 6th
Avenue, Canton, Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, hereby
find the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the home occupation of Massage Therapy, be
issued to BARBARA TAYLOR at 480 N. 6th Avenue, Canton, Illinois,
affecting real property being legally described as follows: Lot Numbered Six
in W. W. Ellis Second Addition to the City of Canton situated in the County
of Fulton, State of Illinois.
3. That the record of the City of Canton, appropriated documents, maps and
related regulations be and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the
foregoing special use permit granted herein.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a regular
meeting this 2nd day of ~ 2005 upon a roll call vote as follows:
