WHEREAS, the City of Canton
located in the County of Fulton , State of Illinois,
wishes to locate, construct and maintain an eight (8") inch diameter water main located
Tong Illinois Route 78, SBI Route 78, Section 134, 135 RS, from Station 214+00 to
Station 219+75 in Fulton County
",
which, by law, comes under the jurisdiction and control of the Department of
Transportation of the State of Illinois, and
WHEREAS, a permit from said Department is required before said work can be
legally undertaken by said City of Canton now
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the
City of Canton
County of Fulton State of Illinois,
First: That we do hereby request from the Department of Transportation, State
_of..Illinois, a permit authorizing the City of Canton _..._..<~:.__
to proceed with the work herein.. described.
Second: That we hereby pledge the good faith of the City of Canton ~ --~-
and guarantee that all work shall be performed in accordance with the conditions of
the permit to be granted by the Department of Transportation,.State of Illinois,_and..,.
to hold the State of Illinois, Department of Transportation harmless, on account of
any damage that may occur toypersons or property, during the prosecution of such -_. -,
work, and assume all liability for damage to persons or property, due to accidents
or otherwise, by reason of the work which is to be performed under the provisions
of said permit.
Third: That we hereby state that the proposed-work is, is not, to be performed
by the employees of the City of Canton
Fourth: That the proper officers of the City of Canton
are hereby instructed and authorized to sign said permit in_behalf of the
City of Canton
