RESOLUTION N0. 1.007 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCES FOR MEMBERS OF THE CITY OF CANTON FIRE DEPARTMENT, LOCAL N0. 1897, INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF FIRE FIGHTERS, AND CANTON POLICE DEPARTMENT, LOCAL N0. 759, AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS, pursuant to agreement heretofore reached between the City of Canton and each of the foregoing unions, the City has obligated itself to pay unto such union members quarterly cost of living allowances; and, WHEREAS, members of the foregoing unions are now entitled to receive cost of living allowances which accrued to such members during the months of May, June, and July of 1983; and, WHEREAS, the cost of living entitlement for the foregoing period has now been determined to have been in the amount of 13 cents ($.13) per hour for each of the aforesaid months. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows: 1. That the cost of living allowance to be paid the then members of each of Local ~~1897, International Association of Fire Fithters, and Local 4759, American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, for the months of May, June, and July of 1983, is 13 cents ($.13) per hour. 2. That this cost of living allowance shall be paid as soon as practicable following the passage of this Resolution and until such allowance is fully paid. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 6 t h day of D e c e m b e r 1983 , upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Horr, May, Sarff, Savill, Hammond, Kovachevich.
