RESOLUTION RE~ARDIN~ PROJECT
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Whereas, the regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
regarding grants for construction of sewage treatment works,
40 CFR 35,2214, requires that the of
CANTON certify one year a ter a ate ofi`~n~tiation of
opera ion o e project whether the project can meet the applicable
performance standards, and
Whereas, before the said certification can be made and before Step 3
building is initiated, the applicable project performance standards
must be established;
Therefore, be it resolved this 18th day of JUNE 19 85 ,
that the performance standards app Ica a or the useful-'f~ e o e
project shall be as listed below, as well as the enforceable requirements
of the Clean Water Act and the plans and specifications which the
project was planned, designed, and built.
1, For load limits computed based on a design .average flow
(DAF) of 3.4bP1GD and a design maximum flow (DMF) of
8.34 MGD- e effluent for discharge number(s)0o1 & 002

(reference the final water Quality and effluent
standards and limitations),
and/or
2. Under design conditions, there shall be no overflows,
surcharges, or basement backups associated with the
separate sanitary collection system.
