HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution #1089f RESOLUTION NO. 1089 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A "RAILROAD CROSSING PERMIT" BETWEEN THE CITY OF CAN'T'ON AND CANTON TOWNSHIP RELATIVE TO THE PROPOSID WEST SIDE RELIEF SEWER. WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has determined that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton to enter into a "Railroad Crossing Permit" with Canton Township as set forth in Exhibit "A" hereto attached. NOW, 'I'f~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows: 1. That Exhibit "A" hereto attached and herein incorporated by reference is hereby approved by the Canton City Council. 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute originals of Exhibit "A" and to deliver the same to Canton Township. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof. PASSID by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 18th day of June 1985, upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Bohler, Workman, Sarff, Falcone, Zilly, Kovachevich. Edwards, Mayor _..~f'/`//f-_ ATTEST: Nan Whites, City Clerk ROADWAY CROSSING PERMIT Canton Township hereby grants authority to the City of Canton, Illinois to locate, construct and maintain a sanitary sewer across Maple Street in Canton, Illinois, in accordance with details on plans submitted with a permit request on May 30, 1985. The plans are entitled "City of Canton, Illinois, Project 1, West Side Relief Sewer," dated February, 1984. The City of Canton represents all parties in interest and shall furnish material, do all work, pay all costs, and shall in a reasonable length of time restore the damaged portions of the roadway right-of-way to a condition similar or equal to that existing before the commencement of the described work, including any seeding or sodding necessary. The proposed sewer will be installed by the open cut trench method. The trench will be backfilled with selected granular material. The roadway will be restored with 8" of aggregate base course and 3" of bituminous concrete.
