ORDINANCE N0. ~~.~
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 14, SECTIONS 3, 8, 9 AND 10 OF
THE CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING THE CITY LANDFILL AND AMENDING
TITLE 3, CHAPTER 14, SECTION 11 OF THE CANTON MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING
THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL FUND.
WHEREAS, the Legal & Ordinance Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois has determined that it is

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made
a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Title 3, Chapter 14, Section 3 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
2. That Title 3, Chapter 14, Section 8 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
3. That Title 3, Chapter 14, Section 9 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
4. That Title 3, Chapter 14, Section 10 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed and deleted from the Canton Municipal
Code.
5. That Title 3, Chapter 14, Section 11 of the Canton Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"3-14-11: GARBAGE DISPOSAL FUND:
The permit fees herein provided shall be paid over
to and credited to the Garbage Disposal Fund of the
City."

6. That the remainder of Title 3, Chapter 14, Garbage Haulers,
of the Canton Municipal Code remain in full force and effect.
7. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
by the Mayor thereof.
