AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 4, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 6 (C) OF THE CANTON
MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING FEES FOR PLUMBING INSPECTION.
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the City of Canton,
Illinois has determined that it is necessary, desirable and to the best
interests of the City of Canton to amend Title 4, Chapter 2, Section
6 (C) of the Canton Municipal Code concerning fees for plumbing in-
spection; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has made
a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Title 4, Chapter 2, Section 6 (C) of the Canton Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"4-2-6 (C): FEES:
Before plans are approved or permits issued, a
fee shall be paid to the Plumbing Inspector in
accordance with the Schedule of Fees as set forth
in the Uniform Plumbing Code which has been adopted
as the Plumbing Code of the City of Canton."
Z. That the remainder of Title 4, Chapter 2, Plumbing Inspector,
of the Canton Municipal Code remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval
liy the Mayor thereof.
