ORDINANCE N0. q0
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS TO THE City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is not within
the corporate limits of any municipality but is continguous to
the City of Canton, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, it further appears to the said City Council that
two electors reside in said territory hereinafter described, and
the owners of record of all the land within said territory have
requested that it be annexed to said city, as shown by the records
of this Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
SECTION :l. That the territory described as follows:
A part of the Southeast Quarter of the Southeast
Quarter of Section 10, Township 7 North, Range 4 East
of the 4th. Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning on the South line of said Section 10, 347
feet West of the Southeast corner of said Quarter
Section; thence running North 660 feet, thence West
198 feet; thence South 660 feet, to the South line
of said Quarter Section; thence East 198 feet to the
place of beginning; situated in the County of Fulton,
in the State of Illinois.

SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this ordinance, together with
an accurate map of the territory above described shall
be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds, Fulton County,
Illinois.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall be in effect from and
after a two-thirds "aye" and "no" vote of the City
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, and approval
by the Mayor.
