ORDINANCE NO. 957
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #952 (BEING, "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE MANNER OF SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY")
WHEREAS, Ordinance #952 has heretofore been passed by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approved
by the Mayor; and,
WHEREAS, numerical paragraph 7 of said Ordinance sets forth an
incorrect date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That numerical paragraph 7 of Ordinance #952 is hereby amended
to read as follows: "7. Bids shall be submitted to the City Clerk,
City Building, 210 E. Chestnut Street, Canton, Illinois 61520,
on or before November 3, 1982, at 5:00 o'clock P.M., local
time. Late bids will not be considered. All bids submitted
shall be opened before the Canton City Council at its regular
meeting of November 3, 1982."
2. That, in all other respects, Ordinance #952 is hereby expressly
ratified, confirmed and approved.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this 19th day of October ,
1982, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevilat~, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Aldermen Larsen, Horr.
