ORDINANCE NO. qrq AN ORDINANCE REMOVING RESTRICTED PARKING FROM THE WEST SIDE OF THIRD AVENUE IN THE CITY OF CANTON BETWEEN HOWARD PLACE AND LOCUST STREET WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee has determined that it is no longer necessary, advantageous or desirable to continue the requirement of restricted parking on the West side of North Third Avenue between the South curb line of Howard Place and the North curb line of Locust Street; and, WHEREAS, the Committee on Streets and Garbage has made a similar determination; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois has made a similar determination. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows: 1. That the restricted parking requirement presently imposed on the West side of North Third Avenue in the City of Canton between the South curb line of Howard Place and the North curb line of Locust Street is hereby repealed and made null and void. 2. That, to the entent inconsistant herewith, all prior ordinances are hereby repealed and made null and void. 3. That the Street Superintendant shall take appropriate action to implement this Ordinance. 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular meeting this tith day of ~rtnhPr 1982, upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Horr, Larsen, Carl, Grant, Sarff, Savill, Hammond, Kovachevich.
