ORDINANCE NO.
951
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 333 BY RAISING BASIC
SERVICE RATES FOR CABLE TELEVISION FROM $8.55 PER MONTH TO
$8.80 PER MONTH

WHEREAS, Fulton Community Antenna Television Systems, Inc.,
hereinafter called "the Company," has requested that basic cable
television service rates be raised from the presently existing
amount of $8.55 per month to $8.80 per month, effective November 1,
1982; and,
WHEREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee, in conjunction with
the Finance Committee, has considered such request and determined
that such request is justified; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has reached a similar
determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the basic monthly service charge authorized in Section
12 of Ordinance #333 is hereby changed by increasing the same from
$8.55 per month to $8.80 per month.
2. That this change shall be effective at 0001 hours,
November 1, 1982.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, approval by the Mayor thereof
and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 5th day of
October 1982, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl,
Larsen, Horr.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
