ORDINANCE NO. r~~~
ALLO[aING P; SPECIAL U8E PERMIT
FOR CERTAIN-PROPERTY -0F
DIXTE K.-SAUNDERS an STEPHEN G. BAUNDERS
IN THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is
located within the corporate limits of said City, said premises
being generally located at a common address known as 732 North
Avenue C, Canton, Illinois, and,
[aHEREAS, a petition for special use permit for a home
occupation was duly filed by the Petitioners and due and proper
notice thereof was published in the Canton Daily Ledger, according
to the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances o.f.
the City of Canton, Illinois, and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the Cite of Canton, Illinois, on
June 14, 1982 concerning said petition for special use of home
occupation and said planning and Zoning Commission did by
unanimous vote at said time recommend to the City Council of
the City of Canton, Illinois that the property hereinafter de-
scribed be granted a special use permit for home occupation for
a one-chair beauty shop.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
~ITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory hereinafter described be
end the same is hereby allowed a special use for a home occupation
to operate a one-chair beauty shop upon said premises which is
:Wore particularly described as follows:
Lot Number Twenty-three (23) in OLD TOWN ADDITION
to the City of Canton, situated in the County of
Fulton and State of Illinois.
x.11 as provided by Title 10, Chapter 5, Section 3(C) and
['itle 10, Chapter 1, Section 2 of the City Code of the City
if Canton.

Section 2. That the records of the City of Canton, ap-
propriate documents, maps and related regulations be and the
same are hereby amended so that the territory hereinabove described
shall be and the same is hereby granted a special use for home
(occupation for a one-chair beauty shop all as provided by the
City Code of the City o.f Canton.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in effect from and
rafter a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton,
(Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof.
