AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE # 539, BEING: "AN ORDINANCE
IMPLEMENTING PROCEDURE UNDER THE URBAN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS (ILL. REV. STAT. 1975, CH. 672,
~ 91.8 et sequi)".
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois did, on or about March 23, 1976, adopt Ordinance #539,
entitled: "An Ordinance Implementing Procedure Under the Urban
Community Development Act of the State of Illinois (I11. Rev.
Stat. 1975, Ch. 672, § 91.8 et sequi)"; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois has now determined that it is no longer in its best interest
to continue to perpetuate such ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That Ordinance #539, entitled: "An Ordinance Implementing
Procedure Under the Urban Community Development Act of the State of
Illinois (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, Ch. 672, ~ 91.8 et sequi)", adopted
on or about March 23, 1976, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,

roll call vote as follows:
AYE Sr Aldermen Kovachevich, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl, Clarke, Horr.
