ORDINANCE NO. 921
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE 4 OF THE CANTON MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF PLUMBING INSPECTOR
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has heretofore adopted the Uniform
Plumbing Code of 1979; and,
WHEREAS, the adoption of such uniform code now supersedes Title 4,
Chapter 2 of the Canton Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT, AND IT HEREBY IS, ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. Title 4, Chapter 2 of the Canton Municipal Code relating to
the office of Plumbing Inspector is hereby repealed.
2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois, approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois this 2nd day of March 1982, and upon a roll
call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Horr, Clarke, Carl, Garnt, Sarff, Hammond.
NAYS : None .
ABSENT: Alderman Kovachevich
