ORDINANCE NO. 973
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 935

WHEREAS, the Canton City Council, on or about June 15, 1982,
adopted Ordinance Number 935 which, among other things, provided
for the annexation of certain real property in said Ordinance
set forth; and, r
WHEREAS, it now appears that the legal description set forth
in Ordinance Number 935 is or may be in error in certain particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the legal description set forth in Section 1 of
Ordinance Number 935 be, and the same hereby is, amended to read
as set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and herein fully in-
corporated by reference.
2. That Exhibit A hereto, being a plat and legal description,
as amended, of the property annexed by Ordinance Number 935 shall,
for all purposes, be the official annexation plat and legal description
of the real property annexed by Ordinance Number 935.
3. That, in all other respects, Ordinance Number 935 is hereby
specifically ratified, confirmed and approved by the City Council
of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
4. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
Ordinance, together with all exhibits hereto appertaining, to be
filed of record with the Fulton County Recorder, Fulton County
Courthouse, Lewistown, Illinois.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this 19th day of April ,
1983 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Grant, Carl, Larsen,
Horr.
NAYS : None .
ABSENT: None.
