ORDINANCE NO. 1044
AN ORDINANCE DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY
BY THE CITY OF CAN'T'ON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has embarked upon a project to expand and/or
improve its wastewater and sanitary sewage systems; and,
Ham, it is necessary that the City of Canton acquire certain real and
personal property to implement the contemplated improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BY IT ORDAINID BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illnois, as follows:~
1. That the acquisition of the real property identified in Exhibit A hereto
attached, and, the acquisition of the personal property identified in Exhibit B
hereto attached is necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton for the
aforesaid purposes.
2. That the ~~layor, City Clerk and City Attorney are hereby directed and
authorized to take such steps as may reasonably appear necessary to purchase all of
the real property set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and all of the personal
property set forth in Exhibit B hereto attached for a total, aggregate purchase price
of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00).
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois by an
affirmative vote of 2/3 of the elected corporate authorities holding office and
approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSID by the City Council of the City of Canton at a regular meeting this
27thday of December 198 4 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Savill, Sarff, Workn~n, Carl.
NAYS: Alderman Horn.
ABSENT: Aldern~eri Hammond, May.

A part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 34, Township 7 North,
Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal 1~-ieridian, Canton Township,
Fulton County, Illinois, described as follows: Beginning at a
point 1704.21 feet South of a stone at the center of said Section
34, running thence Westerly 193.25 feet, thence North 48 feet,
thence Easterly 193.25 feet, thence South 48 feet to the place
of beginning, situated in Fulton County, Illinois.

1. Personal property consists of a 1963 New Moon Mobile Home, identification
Number F'CACOMISI458.
2. The owners name is listed as Paul L. Hurst, Social Security Number
351-22-3708.
3. The title indicates there is no lien on the personal property listed above
in section 1 of this exhibit.
