That the City Clerk of the City of Canton, Illinois is hereby ordered and directed to file with the County Clerk of Fulton County, Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance on or before the time required by law. SECTION 5. That in the event that a Court of cca~ipetent jurisdiction should hereafter determine that one or more of the provisions of this Ordinance are invalid or unconstitutional, the remainder of this Ordinance, and each and every other clause and provision hereof, shall be and remain in full force and effect as though the invalid or unconstitutional provision had never been a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
