HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1034 ORDINANCE N0. in~4 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A ONE CHAIR BEAUTY SALON AT ADDRESS OF 160 STONEGATE DRIVE , WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate address of 160 Stonegate Drive, and, WHEREAS, a petition for a special use home occupation was duly filed by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statues of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, llinois on July 9th, 1984 pursuant to notice; and, WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commis- sion did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said special use permit for the operation of a one chair beauty salon by Gary and Hazel Mortland at address of 160 Stonegate Drive be allowed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows: 1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact. 2. That a special use permit for the operation of a one chair beauty Salon issue to, and the same hereby is issued to, Gary and Hazel Mortland at address of 160 Stonegate Drive, Canton, Illinois affecting real property being legally described as follows, to~wit: Lot #54 in Potesanos Second Addition in the town of Canton, Illinois, a su6divi'sion of part of the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, in Township 7 North, Range 4 East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, situated in the City of Canton, County of Fulton and State of Illinois. 3. That this special use permit is personal to Gary and Hazel Mortland at the above stated address only. That any cessation of such use by Gary and Hazel Mortland or their moving or removal from said address shall automatically terminate said special use permit. That, further, such special use permit is not transferrable or valid at any other address or affecting any other property. 4.
