ORDINANCE N0. 1028
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF
SELLING BLAIR' HOME PRODUCTS AT ADDRESS OF 1024 EAST WALNUT STREET
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described
is located within the corporate address of 1024 East Walnut Street;
and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a special use home occupation was duly
filed by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was
published within said City and County, all in accordance with the
Statutes of the State of Tllinois and the Ordinances of the City
of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held
before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton,
Illinois on June 11, 19$4 pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said
Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that
said special use permit for the operation of selling Blair's Home
Products by Rahphand Vera Boyd at address of 1624 East Walnut Street
be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY' THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinoi's as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the operatian of selling
Blair's Home Products issue to, and the same hereby is issued to,
Ralph and Vera Boyd at address of 1024 East Walnut Street, Canton,
Illinois affecting real property being legally described as follows,
to-wit:
BLOCK 1: J.L. Murphy Addition to the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this special use permit is personal to Ralph. and
Vera Boyd at the above stated address only. That any cessation of
such use by Ralph and Vera Boyd or their moving or removal from
said address shall automatically terminate said special use permit.

PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting the 3rd day of Jul.y
1984 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Horr, May, Carl, Workman, Savill, Hammond,
Kovachevich.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Sarff.
