ORDINANCE NO. 101 Z
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1008 BEING: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE MANNER OF SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF CANTON,
FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS".
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council on or about April 3, 1984, passed Ordinance
Number 1008, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing For The Manner Of sale Of Certain
Real Property Owned By The City Of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois"; and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance provided for a minimum acceptable bid for the sale
of Parcel Number Seven (being therein more specifically identified) of $20,000.00;
and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has now determined that the establishment of
said minimum acceptable bid with respect to the said Parcel Number Seven is not
in the City's best interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That Ordinance Number 1008, entitled: "An Ordinance Providing For The
Sale Of Certain Real Property Owned By The City Of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois"
is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the minimum acceptable bid of $20,000.00
with respect to Parcel Number Seven therein more particularily identified.
2. That, in all other respects, said Ordinance Number 1008 is hereby
reconfirmed and ratified.
3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
at a regular meeting this 1St day of Ma_Y , 1984. upon a roll
call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Hammond, Savill, Sarff, Workman,
Carl, Horr,
NAYS: Alderman May.
ABSENT: None.
