RICHA°.3D D. STREP~tEL APdi~ P'riYLLIS L. STItEMMEL TO CARRY OPd A HOME
OCCUPATION AT 109 EAST OAK ST~~T, CAIV'TON, ILLINOIS.
WHE~'EAS, a Petition for Special. Use Permit signed by RICHARD D. STRErr4EL and
P~iYLLIS L. ST~'EMMEL, the owners of the real property hereinafter described, was
filed before the Planning and Zoning Co^~rnission of the City of Canton, Illinois,
requesting that a special use permit be granted to them to carry on a home
occupation for the purpose of TV repairs and sales; and
WHEREAS, the real property which is the subject of this petition is located
at 109 East Oak Street, Canton, Illinois and is legally described as follows:
W. 49.9 feet of South 2/3 Lot #216 South 2~'3 of Lot x#217 in Wrights
Addition, City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois; and
'rdHEREAS, RICHARD L?. STItEMMEL and PHYLLIS L. STT~N~IEL are the owners of record
of said real property and there are no other owners of record; and
t~J!-~ SAS, said real property is wholly situated within the corporate limits
of the City of Canton, I11.inois and is presently zoned R-2, single family
residential district; and
h~iEREAS, all petitions, documents and outer necessary legal requirements
are in full compliance with the statutes of the State of Illinois and ordinances
of the City of Canton, Illinois; and
WHFREAS, a public hearing was held before the ~'lanning and ?oning Commission
of the City of Canton, Illinois on 1'lecember ~, 1985, pursuant to proper notice
published in the Canton Daily Ledger; and
WF'.EF~AS, no objectors appeared at said public hearing before the Planning
and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois; and

?~[EREAS, on Ilecember 9, 198,, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the
City of Canton, Illinois unan~~mously recommended to the City Council of the City
of Canton, Illinois that a special use permit be granted to RIC?iAq'~ D. ST RE?•'~CEL
and PHYLLIS L. S"TI~'~2MEL to carry on a home occupation for the rurpose of TV repair
and sales; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of Caciton, Illinois that
said special use permit be granted.
NOW, T'dEREFOI~, BE IT OR?3AINED I3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council finds as facts the recitals hereinabove set forth.
2. That a special use permit be, and the same is hereby, issued to RICHARD
D. STRE?~•SEL and PfiYLI,IS L. ST?F:?~"^.FL to carry on a home occupation for th.e purpose
of TV repair and sales at 109 East Oak Street, Canton, Illinois, which real
property is legally described as follows:
W. 19.9 feet of South 2/3 Lot ~/216 South 2/3 of Lot X217 in ~lrights
Addition, City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois; and
said home occupation shall be carried on exclusively by the inhabitants of the
dwelling on the above described real property.
3. That this special use permit shall be personal to s?ICHARD D. STR,.r'~SMEL and
PHYLLTS L. ST1'~`EL at the above stated address only. Any cessation of such use by
RICHA~ D. STftEP~1EL and Pi?YLLIS L. ST RE"1'REL at said address shall automatically
terminate this special use permit. This special use permit is not trap sferrable by
RICHARD h. ST3iENL^1EL and PHYLLIS L. STREI~+IEL and shall not be valid at any other
address.
fit. That the records of the Cit,p of Canton, Illinois, arpropriate documents,
maps and related regulations be, and the same are hereby, amended to reflect

the foregoing special use permit.
5• That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage
by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor
thereof.
PASSED by a majority vote of the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois and APPROVF'D by the Mayor thereof at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 7th day of ?anuary , 1985, upon a roll call vote
as follows:
AYESs Aldermen Kovachevich, Taorkman, May, Chapman, Mayor Edwards.
NAYS: Aldermen Zilly, Sar.~.f .
ABSENTS Alderman Bohler, Alderman Falcone resigned,
