AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 3, CHAPTER 1, SECTION 5 RELATING TO THE LICENSE
FORM USED BY THE CITY WHENEVER A LICENSE IS REQUIRED.
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has determined that it is necessary and
in the best interest of the City of Canton to amend Title 3, Chapter 1, Section
5 of the Canton Municipal Code relating to license forms used by the City in
all cases where licenses are required to be procured.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That Title 3, Chapter 1, Section 5 of the Canton Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
"3-1-5: FORM OF LICENSE: Licenses shall be issued, as nearly as
may be, in the following form:
LICENSE No.
In Consideration of
Dollars
By Authority of the

2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect ten days after
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
approval by the Mayor thereof, and publication in pamphlet form as.provided by
law.
3. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois at a regular meeting this _ day of ~e-~em~e-~ , 1985, upon
