ORDINANCE N0. 1080
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF PUBLIC BENEFIT TAX FUNDS AND HUD AMENDMENT
FUNDS IN THE PAVING OF ENTERPRISE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has on hand the approximate sum of $40,000.00
in Public Benefit Tax funds which may be used for the paving of Enterprise Drive;
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has on hand the approximate sum of $20,000.00 in
HUD Amendment funds which may be used for the paving of Enterprise Drive; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council has determined that it is necessary and in
the best interest of the City of Canton to pave Enterprise Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds that the paving of Enterprise
Drive and construction of appurtenances relating thereto is 67% in the public
interest.
2. That Public Benefit Tax funds not to exceed $40,000.00 now on hand are
hereby appropriated and assessed to the paving of Enterprise Drive and construction
of appurtenances relating thereto, in conformity with specifications to be drawn
by or under the supervision and control of the City Engineer.
3. That HUD Amendment Funds not to exceed $20,000.00 now on hand are hereby
appropriated and assessed to the paving of Enterprise Drive and construction of
appurtenances relating thereto, in conformity with specifications to be drawn by
or under the supervision and control of the City Engineer.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at

vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen. Kovachevich, Zilly, Falcone, Saxff, Workman, Bohler,
Ma.y, Chapman .
