ORDINANCE N0. 1082
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECTAL USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF
A ONE-CHAIR BEAUTY SHOP AT ADDRESS OF-406 E, SYCAMORE.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter
described is located within the corporate address of 406 E,
Sycamore; and,
WHEREAS, a petition for a special use home occupation was
duly filed by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof
was published within said City and County, all in accordance
with the Statutes of the State of Tllnois and the Ordinances of
the City of Canton; and,.
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held
before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton:,.
Illinois on September 9, 1885 pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeazed at said hearing and said
Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council
that said special use permit for the operat~.on of a one-chair
Beauty Shop by Leonard Miller at address of 406 E. Sycamore be
allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CQUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois is as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the operation of a one chair
Beauty Shop be issue to, and the same hereby is issued to, Leonard
Miller at address of 406 E. Sycamore, Canton, Illinois affecta=ng
real property being legally descra.bed as follows,
to-wit:
Lots 11 and 12 off of Block 6 of the
Eugene Orendorff Addition to -the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this special use permit is personal to Leonard
Miller at the above stated address only. That any cessation of such
use by Leonard Miller or his mov~.ng or removal from said address
shall automatically terminate said special use permit, That, further,
such special use permit is not transferrable or valid at any
other address or affecting any other property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby
are, amended to reflect the foregoing special use permit.
PASSED by the City Council of th.e City of Cai~tbn, Fulton
County, zllnois at a regular meet~:ng this 15th day of
1985 upon a roll call vote as follows:
