AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE P~2MTT FOR THE OPERATION OF A SHOP
SPECIALIZING IN WINDOW TINTING OF AUTOMOBILES AT 633 NORTH 8TH AVENUE
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within
the corporate limits of said City, such territory being generally located at
633 North 6th Avenue; and
WHEREAS, a petition for a special use home occupation was duly filed
by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was published in the
Canton Daily Ledger, a secular daily newspaper published within said City
and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and
the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on May 13th,1965
pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did
thereupon recommend. to the Canton City Council that said special uae permit
for the operation of a shop specializing in window tinting of automobiles at
633 North 6th Avenue be allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a special use permit for the operation of a shop specializing
in window tinting of automobiles to, and the same hereby is issued to David I~ee
Sale at address of 833 North 8th Avenue, Canton, Illinois affecting real property
being legally described as follows, to-wit:
Lot number Twenty-nine in Prospect Heights Sub-division of the
Northwest Quarter of Section numbered Twenty-six in Township
Seven North, Range Four East of the Fourth Principal Meridian,
situated in the City of Canton, County of Fulton, in the state
of Illinois.
3. That this special use permit is personal to David Lee Sale at the
above stated address only. That any cessation of such use by David Lee Sale
or his moving or removal from said address shall automatically terminate said
special use permit. That, further, such special use permit is not transferrable
or valid at any other address or affecting any other property.
4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps
and related regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the
foregoing special use permit.
5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois as a regular meeting this 4th day of June , 1985 upon
a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Zilly, Falcone, Sarff, Bohler,
May, Chapman.
NAYS: None .
ABSENT: Alderman Workman.
