ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 948, ENTITLED: "THE CITY OF CANTON FLOOD
PLAIN ORDINANCE", PASSED AND APPROVED ON OR ABOUT SEPTEMBER 21, 1982.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. That Ordinance Number 948, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING REGULATIONS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT, SUBDIVISION OF LAND, PLACEMENT OF
MOBILE HOMES OR OTHER DEVELOPMENT IN RELATION TO FLOOD HAZARD AREAS," passed
and approved on or about September 21, 1982, as amended, is hereby amended by
fully incorporating therein the attached "Flood Insurance Rate Map 01-03" hereto
attached as Exhibit A, said map and exhibit consisting of the referenced Flood
Insurance Rate Map and Map O1 and Map 02 thereto relating.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
at a regular meeting this 2 is t day of May 1985, upon
a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Chapman,. May, Bohler, Workman, Sarff, Falcone,
Zilly, Kovachevich.
NAYS : None .
ABSENT: None.
