ORDINANCE N0. ~~~_
AN ORDINANCE DEDICATING CERTAIN CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY TO THE PUBLIC'S
USE FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Canton is the owner of all that real property
identified in one certain dedication plat hereto attached as Exhibit A
and herein incorporated by reference; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton has determined that
it is in the best interest of the City of Canton that certain real property
as set forth in Exhibit A be dedicated of record for the public's use as
a roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois as follows;
1. That the real property set forth in Exhibit A hereto attached and
herein incorporated by reference is hereby dedicated to the public's use solely
for roadway purposes.
2. That passage and approval of this Ordinance shall be deemed to constitute
delivery by the grantor and acceptance by the grantee.
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Ordinance with
attachments to be filed of record in the Office of the Fulton County Recorder of
Deeds immediately upon the passage of this Ordinance and its approval by the
Mayor.

4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois,
and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at
a regular meeting this 15th. day of ,T~y~~. , 19~, upon a roll
call vote as follows:

Conanencing at the intersection of the South right-of-way
line of East Pine Street and the West rightrof-way. line of
South Second Avenue; thence easterly along the extended
South rightrof-way line of East Pine Street, 49.00 feet;
thence southerly along a line parallel to the West right-
of-way line of Second Avenue to a point on the extended
North right-of-way line of East Maple Street; thence
westerly 49.00 feet to a point of intersection of the
North right-of-way line of Maple Street and the West
right-of-way line of South Second Avenue; thence northerly
along the West right-of-way line of Second Avenue to
the South right-of-way line of Walnut Street; thence
westerly along the South right-of-way line of Walnut
Street to a point of intersection with the extended East
rightrof-way line of Van Buren Court; thence northerly
along the extended right-of-way of Van Buren Court to
the North right-of-way line of Walnut Street; thence
easterly along the North rightrof-way line of Walnut
Street to a point on the West rightrof-way line of South
Second Avenue; thence northerly along the West right-of-
way line of South Second Avneue to a point on the South
rightrof-way line of East Pine; said point being the
point of beginning.
