AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR THE PARK CUSTODIAN FOR
THE CITY OF CANTON FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING MAY, 2006
WHEREAS, the City of Canton, acting through its Council and with the approval of the
Mayor, establishes for the fiscal year, the rates of compensation for the various city employee, and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1838 on June 6, 2006 Establishing
Compensation for Employees of The City of Canton for the Fiscal Yeaz Beginning May 2006, and
WHEREAS, Cazol Kohler was appointed Park Custodian by the Mayor with advice and
consent of the City Council on June 20, 2006, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has not yet provided for the rate of compensation for the Park
Custodian, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois, as
follows:
1. That the rate of compensation pursuant to applicable ordinances for the Park Custodian for the
fiscal year beginning May 2006 is five hundred dollars ($500.00). Said compensation is in
addition to any other entitlement normally and customarily extended to Cazol Kohler as an
employee of the City of Canton.
2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and approved by the Mayor thereof this
18th day of July , 2006, upon a roll call vote as follows:

NAYS: None .
