AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 1129, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING
PARKING ON LINDEN STREET' FROM TFTF~F:AST RIGHT-OF-V+II~Y LINE OF NORTH MAIN STREET TO
THE WEST RIGHT-0F--WAY LINE OF NORTH FOURTH AVIIWE IN THE CITY OF CAN'T'ON, ILLINOIS.
[~~, the Canton City Council has previously passed and the Mayor of
the City of Canton has previously approved Ordinance Number 1129, entitled:
"An Ordinance Prohibiting Parking on Linden Street from the East Rightrof Way
Line of North Main Street to the West Rightrof-Way line of North Fourth Avenue
in the City of Canton, Illinois", on or about February 3, 1987; and,
WfiER~',AS, said Ordinance directed prohibited parking on Linden Street from the
east rightrof-way line of North Main Street to the west right-of-way line of
North Fourth Avenue in the City of Canton, Illinois therein mere fully set forth;
and,
Wf~REAS, it is now necessary and in the best interest of the City of Canton
that Ordinance Number 1129 now be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON,
Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be fact.
2. That subsection 1.B. of Ordinance Number 1129 passed and approved by the
City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and the Mayor thereof
on or about February 3, 1987, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as
follows:
"B. Between the hours of seven o'clock (7:00) in the forenoon and five o'clock
(5:00) in the afternoon weekdays, from the west rightrof-way line of Lawrence Drive
and the east rightrof-way line of North Main Street".
3. That in all other respects, Ordinance Number 1129 is hereby ratified,
approved, and confirmed.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its
passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and
approved by the Mayor thereof.
PASSID by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at
a regular meeting this 3rd day of March , 1987, upon a roll call vote
as follows:
