I further certify that on October 6, 2020 , the City Council of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance #4203 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING, DIRECTING AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE
SALE AT PUBLIC AUCTION OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY
THE CITY OF CANTON AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR CITY PURPOSE.

City Council.

ORDINANCE NO. 4203
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING, DIRECTING AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE
SALE AT PUBLIC AUCTION OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY
THE CITY OF CANTON AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR CITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS,the Canton City Council has determined that the City of Canton presently
owns certain items of personal property no longer needed or used for City purposes; and,
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. The following items hereto attached as Exhibit "A" are hereby approved for sale and shall
be sold at an online public auction and to the highest bidder. Such auction shall be
conducted by Gorsuch Realty & Auction, 1050 N. Main Canton Il 61520
(www.gotogorsuch.com), and held from October 25, 2020 — November 15, 2020, and
continuing until all items are sold or until bidding has terminated.
2. Advertisement of such sale shall be made by Gorsuch Realty &Auction. Such
advertisement shall provide the web address for the location of the online auction.
3. The Mayor may, in his discretion, hire and employ one or more professional
auctioneer(s) (including, but not limited to Gorsuch Realty &Auction) to assist in such
auction and/or incur reasonable expenses in relation to the holding of the auction by
Gorsuch Realty &Auction.
4. That this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the City Council
of the City of Canton, Illinois, by at least 3/4 vote of the Corporate Authorities and
approval of the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton Count Illinois on the 6'' day of
October. 2020.
