A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING SUPPORT BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON FOR THE CDAP APPLICATION FOR RADON HOME PRODUCTS, INC.
WfiEREAS, the City of Canton is applying to the State of
Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for a
Community Development Assistance Program grant; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that an application be made and
ac,reements entered into with the State of Illinois; and,
P~IiF.~2EAS, the Canton City Council passed a Resolution I~1o. 2058
on I.1ay 16, 1989 supporting the CRAP application; and,
4VHEE2EAS, the Canton City Council reaffirms its support of the
Community Development Assistance Program application for Radon
home Products, Inc.
NOW, TIiEItEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAN'T'ON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the City of Canton apply for a grant under the terms
and conditions of the State of Illinois and shall enter into and
agree to the understandings and assurances contained in said
application.
2. That the Iiayor and City Clerl{ on behalf of the City of
Canton execute such documents and all other documents necessary
for the carrying out of said application.
3. 'T'hat the A~ayor and City Clerk are authorized to provide
such additional information as may be required to accomplish the
obtaining of such grant.
4. That the Canton City Council reaffirms its support of the
CD11P application for Radon FIome ~~roducts, Inc.
5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois and approval try the T~iayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular itieeting this 6th day of
June 199, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Meade, Sarff, Steck, Zilly,
Kovachevich,
NAYS: None.
