W-EREAS, that by reason of recommendations of the Fulton County
Health Department and the Phillips and Associates, Inc. it has been
made to appear that a house located at 402 North Avenue A, Canton,
Illinois, and more specifically described as follows:
A PART OF LOT NUVBER 11 IN J. P. OOLEP,IIAN'S ADDITION TO
CANTON, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: Beginning at the Southeast
corner of said Lot 11, thence North 4 feet, thence 1~Jest 60
feet, thence South 2 feet, thence Nest 50 feet, thence
South 2 feet, thence East 100 feet, more or less to the
place of beginning; ALSO

is in dangerous and unsafe condition and that said real estate is
owned by HAROLD D. GIBBON and NIARILYN J. GIBBON; and,

empowers municipalities to demolish, repair or cap
or repair of dangerous and unsafe buildings; and
municipalities to apply to the Circuit Court

NOW, l~-EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the building(s) located on
the premises described above is hereby declared to be dangerous and
unsafe within the meaning of the Statutes set forth in Ch. 24, SS
11-31-1 et sequi, Illinois Revised Statutes; and,

is hereby authorized and directed to apply on behalf of the City of
Canton to the Circuit Court of the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Fulton
County, Illinois, for an Order authorizing the City to demolish said
building, to obtain judgment for costs of every kind, and to attach
a lien thereto and to foreclose the same.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 7th day of
August 1990, upon a roll call vote as follov~rs:
