YEAR. ($10,000,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE BONDS
SERIES 2012, AND $2,810,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE
BONDS SERIES 2013).

the CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS.
further certify that on DECEMBER 17, 2019 , the City Council of such
municipality passed and approved Ordinance No 4177 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE ABATING ALL OF THE BOND LEVY FOR THE 2019-2020 FISCAL
YEAR ($10,000,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE BONDS SERIES
2012, AND $2,810,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE BONDS
SERIES 2013)
which proved by its terms that it should be published in pamphlet form.
The pamphlet for Ordinance No. 4177 including the Ordinance and a cover
sheet thereof, was prepared, and a copy of such Ordinance was posted at City Hall,
2 North Main Street Canton IL, commencing on December 17, 2019 , and continuing
for at least ten days thereafter. Copies of such Ordinance were also available for public
inspection upon request in the Office of the City Clerk.

AN ORDINANCE ABATING ALL OF THE BOND LEVY FOR THE
2019-2020 FISCAL YEAR
($10,000,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE BONDS SERIES 2012,
AND $2,810,000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT ALTERNATE REVENUE BONDS
SERIES 2013)
WHEREAS, the City of Canton has, by Ordinance #3005, previously authorized the
issue of$10,000,000 Principal Amount Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 2012, and, the issue of
$2,810,000 Principal Amount Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 2013, and,
WHEREAS, it now appears that the City has, or will have, on hand, water and sewer
funds sufficient to abate all of such bond levy for the City's 2019-2020 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, FULTON COUNTY,ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The levy for the City of Canton $10,000,000.00 Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series
2012, for the City of Canton 2019-2020 fiscal year be, and the same hereby is, abated in
its entirety in the amount of$1,732,285.00
3. The levy for the City of Canton$2,810,000.00 Alternate Revenue Bonds, Series 2013,
for the City of Canton 2019-2020 fiscal year be, and the same hereby is, abated in its
entirety in the amount of$467,380.00
4. That all other levies are hereby reaffirmed and ratified.
5. That the City Clerk shall certify a copy of this Ordinance to the Fulton County Clerk
as and for said Clerk's authority to abate the said levies in their entirety.
6. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by
the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the
Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois as a regular meeting
this 17 day of December 2019.
