A RESOLIITION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF CLIFF O~BRIEN TO THE
POSITION OF STREET SIIPERINTENDENT AND TO THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT
SIIPERINTENDANT, WASTEWATER
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Canton has appointed Cliff
O'Brien to the position of Street Superintendent with the City of
Canton; and, to the position of Assistant Superintendant,
Wastewater; and,
WHEREAS, it is incumbant upon the City Council to give its
advice and consent to such appointment and, further, to fix the
salary and emoluments of office for the fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIINCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds the foregoing
recitals to be fact.
2. That the Mayoral appointment of Cliff O'Brien to the
position of Street Superintendent and Assistant Superintendant,
Wastewater with the City of Canton is hereby approved.
3. That said appointee, for the current fiscal year, shall
be paid the salary of $30,580.00, together with all other
emoluments and entitlements which normally and customarily attend
such position.
4. That this appointment is for a one year period of time.
5. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage and shall be retroactive to and
including date of May 1, 1990.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at its regular meeting this 1st day of May, 1990,
upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Zilly, Steck, Sarff, Meade,
Bohler, play, Chapman.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: None.
