Vu-~45, the City of Catnon and the Illinois Department of
Transportation have heretofore entered into a certain "Master
Agreement" dated March 18, 1981; and,
1~1~1'EF~F-AS, the Lega I and Ordinance Corrmi ttee has determined
that it is necessary and in the best interest of the City of
Canton to amend such agreement, hereto attached and herein
incorporated as Exhibit "A"; and,
W-EREAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination.

CITY ~ CAIVTaV, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the Amendment to the Master Agreement (A reement
#393) hereto attached as Exhibit "A" between the City og Canton
and the Illinois Department of Transportation is hereby approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said agreement on behalf of the
City of Canton, Illinois.
3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
irrrnediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois.

1991, upon a roll call vote as follows:

AMENDMENT TO MASTER AGREEMENT
This AMENDMENT. made and entered into on this day of
. 19 by and between the City of Canton
(hereinafter refierred to as "VILLAGE" or "CITY". etc.) and the State
of Illinois. Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to
as "STATE").
WITNESSETH-
WHEREAS. CITY and STATE have entered into a MASTER
AGREEMENT dated March 18. 1981. which AGREEMENT sets forth certain
responsibilities of the respective parties for the maintenance and
provision of necessary electrical energy for certain traffic signals
and the costs associated therewith; and
WHEREAS. CITY and STATE desire to amend said AGREEMENT:
NOW. THEREFORE. in consideration of the mutual covenants
contained herein and other good and valuable consideration. the
receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged by both
CITY and STATE. the parties hereto agree that the following
provisions are hereby added to and made a material Dart of the
MASTER AGREEMENT; ali other terms and conditions of the MASTER
AGREEMENT not in confilict with this AMENDMENT shall remain in full
force and effect:
THE FOLLOWING described signal revisions are hereby made a part
of the MASTER AGREEMENT:
(A) Illinois 9 (Locust) and Illinois 78 (Main) -
