A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL
SALARY FOR FIRE CHIEF, ROBERT DERENZY
I~~HEREAS, the Canton City Council has previously, on an
interim basis, set the annual salary for Fire Chief, Robert
DeRenzy, at the sum of $35,158.00, together with all the benefits
and emoluments thereto customarily relating; and,
WHEREAS, the Canton City Council now wishes to memoralize
and make permanent such decision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUI'dCIL OF THE
CITY OF CAi~TON, Fulton County, Illinois as follows:
1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds the foregoing
recitals to be fact.
2. That the annual salary of Fire Chief, Robert DeRenzy, is
hereby set at $35,158.00 per year together with all benefits and
emoluments thereto customarily relating.
3. That this Resolution and the salary and benefits set
forth in paragraph 2, above, shall be retroactive to and effective
as of May 1, 1991.
!~. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Illinois and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois and approved by the T{Iayor thereof this 17th day
of September, 1991.
AYES: Aldermen. May, Barnett, Meade, Bohler, Steck, Sarff, Coay.
NAYS: None.
ABSENT: Alderman Molleck.
