ORDINANCE NO. 1178
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING CITY OF CANTON TAX INCREMENT AREA NO. 4-A
WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore in Ordinance No. 1176
adopted and approved the Area No. 4-A Redevelopment Plan and
Redevelopment Project with respect to which a public hearing was
held on December 17, 1987, and it is now necessary and desirable to
designate the area referred to in said plan as the Area No. 4-A
Redevelopment Project Area;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS, as follows:
1. That the following described area is hereby designated as
the Area No. 4-A Redevelopment Project Area pursuant to Section
11-74.4-4 of the Real Property Tax Increment Allocation
Redevelopment Act, P.A. 79-1525:
(SEE ATTACHED LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS)
2. All Ordinances and parts of Ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a Special meeting this 31st day of December,
1987 upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Bohler, Meade, Sarff, Steck,
Zilly, Kovachevich.
NAYS: None.
