AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN ANNUAL SALARY FOR THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, the Finance & Personnel Committees of the City of
Canton, Illinois has determined that it is necessary, desirable and
to the best interests of the City of Canton to set specific
salaries for the various elected municipal officers including the
Mayor, City Clerk, and City Treasurer; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois has
made a similar determination.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:

annual salary of $10,000.00.
1990, the Mayor of the City of Canton,
annual salary of $10,667.00.
1991, the Mayor of the City of Canton,
annual salary of $11,334.00.
1992, the Mayor of the City of Canton,
annual salary of $12,000.00.
zce shall be in full force and effect upon
its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
approval by the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Illinois and
APPROVED by the Mayor thereof this 18th day of October,
1988, upon a roll call vote as follows:
AYES: Aldermen Kovachevich, Zilly, Steck, Sarff, Meade, May,
Chapman, Bohler,
NAYS: None.
