ORDiNAA1CE NO. 118 8 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A H(~lE OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A TAXIDERMY SHOP AT 271 FULTON PLACE WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate limits at 271 Fulton Place, WHEREAS, a Petition for a Home Occupation Permit was filed by the petitioners and notice thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton= and, WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the Plan- ning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on March 14, 1988 pursuant to notice= and, WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did there- upon recommend t© the Canton City Council that said Home Occupation Permit be issued for the operation of a Taxidermy Shop by Raymond D. and Patricia M. Harper at 271 Fulton Place, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, FULTON COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact. 2. That a Home Occupation Permit for the operation of a Taxidermy Shop issue to, and the same hereby is issued to Raymond D. and Patricia M. Harper at 271 Fulton Place, Canton, Illinois affecting real property described as follows, to-wits Lot Number Fourteen (14) in N. S. Wright': Addition to the City of Canton, situated in the County of Fulton and the State of Illinois. 3. That this Home Occupation is personal to Raymond D. and Patricia M. • Harper at the above stated address only for a term of two years from the date hereof= any cessation of such use shall automatically terminate said Home Occupation Permit= such Home Occupation Permit is not transferrable or valid at any other address or aff~Qt~g any other property. 4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same ~iereby are, amended to reflect the foregoing Home Occupation Permit. Harper, owners, for a special use permit for a Taxidermy shop. The property in question is located at 271 Fulton Place, Canton, Illinois. The above recommendation was approved at the commission's meeting on March 14, 1988 and are based on the findings of facts check list attached. The home occupation will be carried on only in the dwelling and/or garage subject to the re- strictions of Section 10-15.1-5(A) of the Canton Municipal Code. Yes No 2.
