AN ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT .150 MARTIN AVENUE, CANTON, ILLINOIS, FROM R-4 MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO B-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT FOR AN ACCOUNTING BUSINESS. WHEREAS, a Petition for Rezoning, signed by the owners of record, of the territory hereinafter described, was filed before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, requesting that said territory be rezoned B-2 General Commercial District, of Mildred Nagle, generally located at the address of 150 Martin Avenue, Canton, Illinois, and which is legally described as follows: Lot Nineteen (19) in Jones' Third Addition to Canton, except fifty ( 50 ) feet off the North side thereof . WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on November 27, 1987, pursuant to notice published in the Canton Daily Ledger; and, WHEREAS, on November 27, 1987, the Canton Planning and Zoning Commission recommended to the Canton City Council that the territory hereinafter described be rezoned to B-2, General Commercial District. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows: 1. That the Canton City Council hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact. 2. That the territory described be, and the same hereby is, rezoned B-2, General Commercial District. 3. That the appropriate officials of this City mark and make such changes on the zoning map of this City as may be necessary to properly display the zoning change herein Ordained and so such other acts as are customarily done to reflect the zoning change. 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and approval by the Mayor thereof. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, at a regular meeting this 5th day of January , 1988 upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Bohler, Sarff, Steck, Zilly, Kovachevich, NAYS: None, ABSENT: Alderman Meade.
