AN ~DINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING IN THE
400 BIA(~C OF 900TH AV1~[JE A
WHBREAS, the Legal and Ordinance Committee of the Canton
City Council has determined it is necessary, desirable and in the
best interest of the City of Canton to eliminate parking in the
400 block, on the west side of South Avenue AZ and,
WABRBAS, the Canton City Council has made a similar
determination
N0~1, TRB, BE IT RS9OLVID BY THE CITY CIOUNCIL OF THE
CI?Y Off' C1,N'1bN, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be
fact.
2. That parking in the 400 block of South Avenue A between
the South right-of-way line of the Santa Fe Railroad
right-of-way and the North right-of-way line of West Oak
Street is prohibited on the West side of South Avenue A.
3. That all ordinances, or, portions of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby
rescinded and repealed.
4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect ten (10) days after its passage by the City
Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County,
Illinois, approval by the Mayor thereof, and
publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
5. That the Street Superintendent shall cause
appropriate signs to be posted on North Avenue A.

County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 8th day of
Nov~b e~~ 1989 upon a roll call vote as follows:
