ORDINANCE N0. 1747
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATIONJSPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE ADDRESS OF 145 WEST CEDAR STREET IN THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the territory hereinafter described is located within the
corporate limits of said City, said premises being generally located at
a common address known as 145 West Cedar, Canton, Illinois, and,
WHEREAS, a petition for special use permit for a home occupation
was duly filed by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was
published in the Canton Daily Ledger, according to the Statutes of the
State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton, Illinois, and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the Planning and Zoning
Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois, on May 8, 1989, concerning said
petition for special use of home occupation and said Planning and Zoning
Commission at said time recommends to the City Council of the City of Canton,
Illinois, that the property hereinafter described be granted a special use
permit for home occupation for a wholesale creme mint distributor.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CANTON, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the territory hereinafter described be and the
same is hereby allowed a special use for a home occupation to operate a
wholesale creme mint distributor upon said premises which is more particularly
described as follows:
Lot #2 in the West 26.5 feet of Lot #3 of Idyl wild Addition
to the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
Section 2. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be and the same are hereby amended
