ORDINANCE N0. 1245
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO ELMER
H. JACOBS, AND WILMA C. JACOBS AT 658 W. WALNUT STREET,
CANTON, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton
has, after Notice and Hearing, unanimously recommended the issuance of a
home occupation permit to Elmer H. Jacobs and Wilma C. Jacobs to operate a
shoe repair shop on the premises pursuant to the provisions of the City Code
of Canton, specifically Section 10-15.1 - 1 et seq.; at the location known as
b58 W. Walnut Street, Canton, Illinois and which is legally described as:
Lots 10 and 11 in Block Two (2) in Babcock's Second Quality Hill
Addition to Canton, Fulton County, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission made certain findings
of fact which have been forwarded to this Council with its recommendation,
and
WHEREAS, this Council is now fully advised in the premises; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Canton to issue a
home occupation permit as requested.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois, as follows:
1. That the City Council of Canton finds the foregoing recitals to be
fact.
2. That a home occupation permit be and it is hereby granted to Elmer
H. Jacobs and Wilma L. Jacobs to operate a shoe repair shop on the premises
known as 658 West Walnut Street and legally known as Lots 10 and 11,
Block Two in Babcock's Quality Hill Addition to Canton.

3. That a certified copy of this ordinance shall constitute such permit
and shall issue immediately upon passage and approval of this ordinance.
4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediaietly
upon its passage by the City Council of the City of Canton and approval by
the Mayor thereof.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois
at a regular meeting this 16th day of May, 1989 upon a Roll Call vote as
follows:
AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Bohler, Meade, Sarff,
Steck, Zilly, Kovachevich.
NAYS: None ,
ABSENT: None,
