ORDINANCE N0. 1299
AN ORDINARCE GRANTING A HOME OCCIIPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION
OF A UTOMEB~S ACCESSORY STORE AT THE ADDRESS OF 475 W. EIM STREET
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter
described is located within the corporate limits of the City of
Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a petition fora home occupation permit was duly
filed by the Petitioner and due and proper notice thereof was
published within said City and County, all in accordance with the
Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City
of Canton; and,
WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held
before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton,
Illinois on November 12, 1990 pursuant to notice; and,
WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said
Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that
said home occupation for the operation of a Women's Accessory
Store by Carolyn Triffet at address of 475 West Elm Street be
allowed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois is as follows:
1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact.
2. That a home occupation permit for the operation of a
Women~s Accessory Store be issued to, and the same hereby is
issued to, Carolyn Triffett at address of 475 West Elm Street,
Canton, Illinois affecting real property being legally described

as follows, to-wit:
Lots Eight (8) and Nine (9), Block 2, Babcock's
Quality Hill, First Addition to the City of
Canton, Fulton County, Illinois.
3. That this home occupation is personal to Carolyn
Triffett at the above stated address only. That any cessation of
such use by Carolyn Triffett or her moving or removal from said
address shall automatically terminate said permit. That, further,
such home occupation permit is not transferrable or valid at any
other address or affecting any other property.
4• That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate
documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby
are, amended to reflect the foregoing home occupation permit.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton
County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 4th day of
December , 1990, upon a roll call vote as follows:
