HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance #1288 ORDINANCE NO. 1288 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A DAY-CARE CENTER AT THE ADDRESS OF 223 WEST VINE STREET. WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois that the territory hereinafter described is located within the corporate address of 223 West Vine Street; and, WHEREAS, a petition for a home occupation permit was duly filed by the Petitioners and due and proper notice thereof was published within said City and County, all in accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois and the Ordinances of the City of Canton; and, WHEREAS, a public hearing concerning such petition was held before the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Canton, Illinois on July 9, 1990 pursuant to notice; and, WHEREAS, no objectors appeared at said hearing and said Commission did thereupon recommend to the Canton City Council that said home occupation for the operation of a day-care center by Beth Kozelichki and Randy Hopper at address of 223 West Vine Street be allowed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CANTON, Fulton County, Illinois is as follows: 2. That a home occupation permit for the operation of a day-care center be issued to, and the same hereby is issued to, Beth Kozelichki and Randy Hopper at address of 223 West Vine Street, Canton, Illinois affecting real property being legally described as follows, to-wit: 1. That the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois hereby finds the foregoing recitals to be fact. Lot Number 4 in Keeling Addition to the City of Canton, 3. That this home occupation is personal to Beth Kozelichki and Randy Hopper at the above stated address only. That any cessation of such use by Beth Kozelichki and Randy Hopper or their moving or removal from said address shall automatically terminate said permit. That, further, such home occupation permit is not transferrable or valid at any other address or affecting any other property. 4. That the records of the City of Canton, appropriate documents, maps and related regulations be, and the same hereby are, amended to reflect the forgoing home occupation permit. PASSED by the City Council of the City of Canton, Fulton County, Illinois at a regular meeting this 7th day of August 1990, upon a roll call vote as follows: AYES: Aldermen Chapman, May, Bohler, Sarff, Steck, Fuller.
